Easter Banner

We invite our Kaimuki community to celebrate Easter with us!

This year, our Easter theme is Buried. Raised. Alive. from Romans 6:10-11:

For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Through Christ’s burial and resurrection, He was raised from the dead and now lives, having established His rule, authority, power, and dominion over all things, both now and forevermore. Standing on this triumphant foundation, we rejoice that, as He was buried and raised to life, we too are made alive with Him and are called to walk as a new creation and to share the Good News of Jesus with everyone around us.

On Easter weekend, we invite you to join us in remembering and celebrating together. On Good Friday, April 3, we will gather from 7:00–8:00 p.m. to reflect on Christ, who was buried for us. On Easter Sunday, April 5, our Sunrise Service will begin at 6:30 a.m. on the basketball court, followed by our Easter Family Services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the Worship Center. Between the family services, refreshments will be served in the Fellowship Hall as we celebrate the risen Christ, who is alive in us.
