ELDER ELECTIONS

If you are a member of Kaimuki Christian Church (KCC), we welcome your involvement in the process of the election of elders. We take part in this vital process through prayer, patience, and togetherness as members of KCC. Elders shepherd and oversee the KCC `ohana, and the qualifications of an elder are found in Scripture:

1 Timothy 3:1-7
Titus 1:5-9
1 Peter 5:1-4
James 5:14

The election and re-election of elders will occur at our church service / annual meeting slated for the weekend of October 6 & 8, 2023.

Elders serve a three year term at Kaimuki Christian Church, and are eligible to serve again through a congregational vote affirming re-election.

Ballots and information on the elders up for re-election and any new elders will be mailed out on September 20th, 2023.

Paul Yamashita is a new elder candidate for election, and Danny Han and Vehia Goo are elders up for re-election.

This year, we are also proposing a few changes to our by-laws for house-keeping purposes and clarity.
